Working With Me
What Empower means to me: Empower means progress not perfection. We can empower ourselves by always striving for improvement, while leaving space for forgiveness and patience.
My Philosophy: As humans we experience a wide range of emotions. There is no right or wrong way to feel and I hope to relay this message to my clients. We can work through all the negative and positive emotions so that you feel more attune with yourself.
What sessions with me look like: Therapy is a collaborative process. I always want my clients to feel like they are being seen and heard as we work together to reach their goals. Sessions with me will always start with a nonjudgmental space to ensure my client feels secure so that we can begin to start the healing process.

Being a therapist is both a deeply personal and professional goal for me. In all of our busy lives it is important to never neglect our mental health, which is a sentiment I take very seriously in my own life and hope to teach my clients as well. Therapy is a space to feel safe and validated so that together we can challenge negative thoughts and behaviors. I want my clients to feel like we are a team tackling problems together while always meeting the client at a level they are comfortable with. Due to the nature of therapy, it can feel challenging at times. I hope to be a guiding hand throughout that process so we can both leave the therapy space feeling more confident and closer to our goals.
