Working With Me

What Empower means to me: Rewriting your own story in your perspective, and becoming the protagonist of your life. It means reclaiming your own personal power while you navigate through life’s challenges. We all go through bad times and sometimes have trouble getting ourselves out of the patterns we’ve created, whether in our lives or in our minds. Empowerment is motivation, finding the strength you’ve had inside you all along, and taking control to build your life, and making it your own.

My Philosophy: A warm place. In our sessions, I aim to create a warm and inviting space where you can authentically express yourself. The goal is to foster open communication, free from judgment, and rooted in acceptance, kindness, and honesty. It is within this safe environment that genuine change can unfold, and progress can begin happening.

What sessions with me look like: My therapeutic approach is grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and narrative therapy. I firmly believe in the inherent worthiness of every individual to live their best life. Sometimes, the path to this realization requires acquiring new skills and gaining the knowledge to initiate positive change. Through the incorporation of DBT skills and narrative therapy, I am confident that anyone can embark on a journey of growth and become the person they are meant to be.

Sessions with me are characterized by empathy, understanding and unwavering support. Change can be a challenging journey when undertaken alone. Whether you seek inner peace, personal improvement, or are grappling with long-standing issues, I invite you to join me and discover the support you need. You don’t have to navigate these challenges alone; together, we can work towards your goals and well-being.

More About Me

My path in mental health counseling began with a deep curiosity about the intricacies of the society we inhabit. This curiosity led me to pivot my career focus, finding profound understanding by delving into the inner workings of the human experience. In this process, not only did I gain insights into the world around me, but I also embarked on a journey of self-discovery.

Recognizing that external influences often shape our lives, I became acutely aware of the importance of pausing and reflecting on what truly matters to us. Witnessing the struggles of significant individuals in my life, I discovered the immense impact that a caring ear or a compassionate conversation can have in providing support and catalyzing positive change.

It became evident to me that many individuals remain entrapped by fear, hindered from expressing themselves due to past traumas, negative experiences, or societal expectations. I empathize with this struggle, having once found myself in a similar position. However, through my own experience of discovering a safe and authentic space for self-expression, I became convinced that most of us are capable of breaking free from these constraints and living up to our fullest potential.

My journey has equipped me with a profound understanding of the transformative power inherent in compassionate listening and open dialogue. Having a supportive environment in place, I now enjoy helping others through the same journey of finding the courage to voice their experiences and embark on a journey toward personal growth and fulfillment.
