Working With Me
What Empower means to me: Learning to love ourselves through our struggles, while embracing the strength within us to rise above them.
My Philosophy: “Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful part of us.” Don’t be afraid to channel your pain into something that better serves you; there is power in vulnerability.
What sessions with me look like: Therapy is not one size fits all. Our sessions together are your time to learn, grow, and heal – in whatever way that may look like for you. We are a team; we will work together to identify what serves you in the therapeutic space, and what doesn’t. I understand that beginning therapy may be frightening, but find comfort in knowing that there is no room for judgement in the space that we share together.

Ever since I was a child, my biggest passion in life has been to help others. This passion was truly ignited after witnessing the disparities in the mental health care system firsthand – and it was then that I knew becoming a therapist was my ultimate goal.
As a queer therapist in today’s society, I understand how vital it is for the LGBTQIA+ community – and all marginalized communities – to have safe, affirming spaces where they can feel seen, heard, and supported. My main source of joy in this life is providing others with that space, then watching them continue to flourish outside of it. After many years of working with children on the Autism Spectrum, I have come to see not only how beautiful the human spirit is, but how resilient it is as well, and it has only furthered my love for this work even more. I’m continually inspired by the courage of others, and I feel deeply honored to walk alongside those on their journey to healing.
