Working With Me
What Empower means to me: Empowerment is not about changing who you are, it’s about discovering who you’ve always been. To me, empower means helping you recognize the strength, wisdom, and resilience you already carry within yourself. It’s about creating a space where you can fully embrace your true, authentic self, grow your confidence, and feel comfortable expressing who you are.
My Philosophy: I believe that seeking counseling is a brave and admirable step. My approach is rooted in empathy, kindness, and genuine connection. Your voice, your story, and your goals matter most. Together, we’ll work to foster growth, resilience, and belief in yourself. My hope is to help you feel more confident in your ability to navigate life’s challenges, embrace your strengths, and create meaningful change in the ways that feel right for you. Above all, I believe sessions are a place where you can show up just as you are and feel supported on your journey toward growth and empowerment.
What sessions with me look like: In our sessions, you can expect a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space. We’ll focus on building a relationship where you feel heard and understood. Each session is tailored to you, and together, we’ll explore tools and skills to help you navigate life’s challenges and overcome obstacles. My goal is to walk along-side you and offer support as you reach the goals that matter most to you.

More About Me
My journey toward becoming a counselor has been shaped by a wide variety of experiences. From my very first job as a teenager, spending summers working with children, to later serving as a mental health counseling intern supporting adults in rural communities, and many experiences in between, I have always been drawn to connecting with people on a deeper level.
Each role taught me something valuable about the human experience and reinforced what I now know to be true: no matter our background or circumstances, we all want to feel seen, heard, and accepted. Through my work, I have found great meaning in offering that sense of understanding and support. As a mental health counselor, it is my passion to create a safe, compassionate space where people can be fully themselves and know they are not alone.
