Working With Me
What Empower means to me: Empowerment means having the agency and confidence to lead the life you want to live. It means taking the reins and being in control of your choices. It also means asking for help when you need it and understanding that not all of life’s difficulties can be overcome solo.
My Philosophy: I strive to make my clients feel comfortable in session by providing them with a safe and non-judgmental environment. I hold space for big feelings, breakthroughs, reflection, and bumps in the road. I do my best to use a multicultural lens in my therapeutic practice to immerse myself in a client’s worldview fully.
What sessions with me look like: Using both humor and honesty as tools, seeing a situation from multiple perspectives, taking time to unwrap layered ideas, psychoeducation, with CBT & restructuring DBT skills sprinkled throughout.

More About Me
I love working with people and being able to support them throughout their journeys to personal growth. I am empathetic and compassionate and can put myself in the client’s shoes to truly gain perspective. As someone who has experienced my own struggles with mental health, I use my experience as a foundation to supplement my therapeutic practice. I understand that therapy can be a vulnerable experience, but I am here to help you through it every step of the way.
