Working With Me
What Empower means to me: Empowerment is a quiet strength. It means making choices based on a growing self-awareness. There’s a sense of freedom, clarity, and maturity that comes from being curious about yourself, embracing what you discover, and using what you’ve learned to live your life fully.
My Philosophy: It’s possible to both know yourself well and want to know yourself even better. I value the growth that happens as people deepen their self-understanding, and I respect the many different ways people accomplish this in therapy. Along the way, the work we do together can help you imagine new possibilities for your future and support you in actively moving toward them.
What sessions with me look like: Working with me means you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. The difficulties you choose to discuss in session will fuel a process of guided exploration and skills-building in a caring space. With your well-being at the forefront, we’ll be creative in crafting a way of working together that’s right for you.

I worked in the performing arts for twenty years while also working as a teaching artist across the boroughs and around the world. Art has the power to convey both the most simple and the most complex truths of being human. It helps us express ourselves, connect with others, and live more fully. Therapy does this too, and I enjoy using my curiosity, creativity, critical thinking skills, and collaborative spirit to work with others in a compassionate way.
I’m motivated to work as a therapist because navigating life is no easy task, and therapy can make it a little easier.
